Terms of Service

Effective: December 1, 2026

1. Scope

These Terms govern your use of the Isleday app and website ("the Service") operated by Gain Nam ("we").

2. The Service

Isleday records habits you set and changes a virtual island and character based on your records. The Service does not provide medical or health advice; consult a professional for health decisions.

3. Accounts

  1. You start with an anonymous account. To keep your data across devices or use purchases and invites, you may link an Apple or Google account.
  2. If you delete the app while anonymous, your data may not be recoverable.
  3. You must be at least 13 years old (14 in Korea).

4. Virtual currency ("Shells")

  1. Shells are a virtual item used only inside the Service. They have no cash value and cannot be redeemed, transferred, or exchanged.
  2. Shells are earned through use (check-ins, streaks, invites) or bought in the app.
  3. Refunds for purchased Shells are handled by the store where you bought them (Apple App Store, Google Play) under that store's policy. We can point you to the process but do not issue refunds directly.
  4. Earned Shells expire without compensation when the Service ends or you delete your account.
  5. We may change earning rules and prices with notice in the app. Shells and items you already own are not affected.

5. Subscriptions

If a subscription (Island Pass) is offered, it renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal in your store account settings. Islands and items you unlocked remain yours after cancellation.

6. Your responsibilities

You agree not to:

  1. Use character or island names that infringe others' rights or are offensive;
  2. Manipulate health data, device time, or use automation to obtain rewards unfairly;
  3. Abuse invites (e.g., creating repeated accounts);
  4. Reverse engineer, copy, or commercially redistribute the Service. We may revoke rewards, restrict features, or suspend accounts for violations.

7. Intellectual property

The character Podo, graphics, code, and the Isleday mark belong to us. Content you enter (habits, names) remains yours; we process it only to provide the Service.

8. Changes and discontinuation

We may change or discontinue the Service with 30 days' notice before discontinuation. You can export your data before then.

9. Disclaimer and limitation

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for losses caused by device failure, network outages, or store outages. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer under applicable law.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Consumers may also rely on mandatory protections of their country of residence.

11. Changes to these Terms

We will post changes in the app and on the website at least 7 days before they take effect (30 days for changes unfavorable to users).
